Pro Audio Technology (PRO) has announced a new line of commercial-centric loudspeakers encompassing five multi-purpose models for installed and portable applications, and they were highlighted at the recent InfoComm 2024 show in Las Vegas.
The new loudspeakers incorporate ergonomic handles, multiple fly points, industry-standard mount points, and pole cups. Optional PRO SplitYoke multipurpose mounting brackets can be used to install all models on walls, ceilings, floors and other surfaces. In addition, the PRO Caster Kit quickly makes portable both the CF-212.3 full-range loudspeaker and CLF-212 subwoofer.
“It was brought to my attention that there is a desperate need at the premium end of the commercial market for high-output yet refined loudspeakers that can be installed virtually anywhere,” says Paul Hales, CEO and product designer for Pro Audio Technology. “PRO Commercial loudspeakers are specifically designed to fill this niche with a family of products that are flexible, compact, easy to install, and can handle near sound reinforcement levels while sounding like true high fidelity.”
Models include:
CF-46.2 — Quad 6-inch, two-way design with a slender profile providing 120-degree conical coverage.
CF-28.2 — Dual 8-inch, two-way design with an 80 x 60-degree elliptical horn.
CF-112.2 — Single 12-inch, two-way design with an 80 x 60-degree elliptical horn.
CF-212.3 — Dual 12-inch and dual 8-inch, three-way design in a package that’s 10 inches deep.
CLF-212 — Compact dual 12-inch bass-reflex subwoofer that’s sonically matched to the CF-46.2, CF-28.2, and CF-112.2.
All five new models will be available in Q4, 2024.
