Tampa-based Event Resource Group (ERG) recently deployed house and monitor systems headed by RCF loudspeakers and supporting components to deliver sound reinforcement for the annual Citywide Worship Night in Ocala, FL, an event hosted by Ocala United and attended by nearly 2,000 middle and high school students.

“It was truly a one-of-a-kind evening that has become one of the most anticipated annual events among this age group in our area,” says David Waller, Citywide’s event organizer. “Nearly 2,000 middle and high school students gathered for a worship night in Ocala. Event Resource Group has been a vitally important partner over the past eight years. This is not only because of their amazing hearts and superb talent as event designers and audio and video technicians, but also because of their top-of-the-line equipment and technology.

“The sound quality they consistently produce year after year is beyond perfect. RCF and ERG have taken what’s in our hearts and minds and perfectly translate it sonically.”

“The choice of RCF equipment was driven by its affordability and exceptional performance,” adds Tony Casler, technical production manager for ERG. “RCF delivers excellent sound quality at half the price of comparable systems. ERG utilized RCF’s patented RDNet sound system management for array alignment and real-time monitoring, ensuring precise sound delivery throughout the venue. It really is a complete system that brings these events to life.”

Specifically, the system incorporated 16 HDL 30-A line array elements joined by eight SUB 9006-A subwoofers. Meanwhile, on stage, monitor sound was delivered by SMA 12 wedges with HDL 6-A elements for fill.

The event presented a local group of 12 young musicians from Ocala-area churches, led by Season 22 American Idol contestant Emery Robbins.
