Whitinsville, MA December 5, 2000 - Keith Clark has been named editor-in-chief of Installed Sound, the web community for the global contracting market at ProSoundWeb.com. The announcement was made by Ken Berger and Dave Stevens, co-founders of Universal Concept Inc. (UCI), parent company of ProSoundWeb.com.
In his role as editor of Installed Sound, Clark will be rapidly building the site into a premier web source for the sound contracting professionals. The emphasis will be on interactivity among users and fostering community for free idea exchange, in addition to presenting a steady stream of meaningful technical and professional information.
Over the past 12 years, Clark has provided a wide range of editorial, photography and marketing services for a host of leading companies serving professional contracting and touring sound markets. He has written more than 500 in-depth application articles detailing system designs and installations in stadiums, arenas, performing arts venues, churches, clubs, as well as for concerts, corporate and special events. In addition, he has partnered with contractors and engineers in preparation of technology articles and white papers.
Clark also worked in full-time capacities with Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) and Electro-Voice, in addition to founding Priority Communications, an editorial-based marketing services agency serving the professional audio industry. In addition, he co-founded Miles Technology, a manufacturer of multichannel sound products for contracting and live sound applications. He also has served as senior consulting editor for Sound & Video Contractor (S&VC), was founding editor of OnStage magazine and directed editorial for Audio Systems, an annual supplement to Video Systems magazine.
